Who's teaching your child

Hi, I'm Yash.

I've been teaching the Rubik's Cube for more than 8 years. In that time over 4,000 students across several countries have learned to solve it with me — most of them children, most of them certain at the start that they wouldn't manage it.

The 6-stage order in these guides isn't something I copied from a tutorial. It's what I arrived at after watching thousands of children get stuck in the same few places, and rewriting the explanation until they stopped getting stuck.

I've also been part of a Guinness World Record attempt with the cube. But the part I actually teach for is smaller than that: the moment a child turns the last face, looks up, and realises they did it themselves.

Questions parents ask

Before you start

What age is this for?

Children from about 6 years old can follow it, and adults use exactly the same method. Many parents end up learning alongside their child.

Which cube do I need?

Any standard 3×3 cube works. A smooth "speed cube" turns more easily and makes practice less frustrating.

How long until my child can solve it?

The 14-day practice tracker plans a full solve in about 2 weeks at 20 minutes a day. Some children are faster, some take a little longer, and that's completely fine.

What's the difference between the Guide and the Course?

The Guide is a printable PDF your child reads step by step. The Course adds Yash teaching every stage on video, with slow-motion close-ups, so your child can watch, pause and repeat.

How do I get access after paying?

The Guide is emailed to you instantly. For the Course and Live Cube Mastery, your YCC Cube Store login is emailed right after payment.

When does the live batch start?

After you join Live Cube Mastery, our team contacts you with the start date of the next batch and helps your child join it. Batches are kept small, with a maximum of 15 students.

What language is it in?

The Guide is in English. If you'd like to ask about the language for live classes, email us before joining.
